Fans got a first glimpse of Matt Reeves' The Batman, during the comic book convention, DC FanDome.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight in a grittier, more haunting take on the superhero.

Perhaps an even bigger shock is the release of the new logo, which has just been filed for a trademark and expected to be used on all merchandise for the film.
