Meet the Team

Todd B. Sherman graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in May 1993, and was admitted to the New York Bar in February 1994. In August 1993, he was appointed an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where he served for 13 years, as a supervisor and Senior Investigative Counsel with the Investigation’s Division and Rackets Bureau. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Todd led long-term joint investigations and prosecutions with other federal and state law enforcement agencies, represented the District Attorney in federal hearings, conducted jury and bench trials and hearings, and was repeatedly designated as Special Assistant District Attorney in other counties where the sitting District Attorney was legally recused as a result of the arrest of an employee or family member.

Todd employed his understanding of technology to aid his focus on complex organized criminal enterprises, electronic surveillance. public corruption and law enforcement misconduct. Todd participated in investigations and prosecutions of trademark counterfeiting involving the Recording Industry Association of America, the Motion Picture Association of America and corporate representatives of clothing and accessory manufacturers, led the investigation and prosecution of the first successful prosecution in Bronx County under New York State’s Organized Crime Control Act, drafted and employed the first warrant to surreptitiously install and employ global positioning system tracking for covert surveillance co-tried what is believed to be the first New York State prosecution leading to conviction and prison sentence of an on-duty police officer for manslaughter to survive appeal, and served as liaison to state and federal  anti-corruption agencies.

After departing public service in late 2006, Todd worked with a boutique complex litigation firm  with offices in New York and Westchester Counties until early 2023 . Todd functioned both as managing attorney and Senior Counsel, with a focus on civil and criminal litigation strategy, complex brief writing and substantive oral argument in state and federal trial and appellate courts, including in copyright and trademark disputes within the cosmetics, fashion and food and beverage industries.

In February 2023, Todd joined Pardalis & Nohavicka LLP, where he now serves as the firm’s Litigation Managing Attorney. In this role, he continues to focus his trial and appellate practice on complex litigation, particularly intellectual property and sophisticated business disputes. He also manages, trains, and advises the firm’s litigation division, ensuring strategic excellence and consistent high-quality advocacy across all matters.
