New Year, New Business Legal Workshop & Networking Social

We took Vern McLellan’s words to heart and kicked off 2020 with a “New Year, New Business” event curated for entrepreneurs, business and startup owners. Eager to bring their business to the next level, over 60 driven entrepreneurs attended our workshop and networking social this past Tuesday at WeWork 575 Lexington.

The evening began with complimentary headshots so that all attendees could instantly refresh their LinkedIn profiles and truly jumpstart their new year, new you resolution bucket list.

An interactive Legal x Business presentation followed that focused on the following:

Refining your business plan
Successfully funding your company and attracting investors
A cautionary tale on MCAs
Protecting your intellectual property on a global scale
Growing your brand through networking

Whether someone was a new entrepreneur with just a seed of an idea or a seasoned business owner looking to dust off and update their old business plan, we featured content for all levels of business.

After the workshop, hands immediately shot up for questions, turning the evening into our most dynamic town hall chat yet. Mingling and networking continued over refreshments from Roots Hummus and Hint Water.
