Law & Lunch: Importance of Protecting Your Intellectual Property & Brand

April 10, 2019

Over 40 entrepreneurs attended our Law & Lunch event focusing on the “Importance of Protecting Your Business & Brand” at WeWork E. 57th on Wednesday, April 10th.  Gianna N. McArthur, Priscilla Rivera, and Eve Chowdhury, three of our prestigious Law Clerks were among the presenters. They thoroughly explained and broke down the proper way to safeguard a company’s intellectual property, the importance of trademark registration, copyrights and patents.  Causes of action, infringement and dilution, was certainly a hot topic discussed.

As per our traditional lunchtime event format, the powerpoint session was to the point and the Q&A portion was vibrant and long-lasting.  Networking, pizza and drinks followed.  These events are extremely dynamic, since each time a new innovative idea and/or company is introduced and discussed collectively by all attendees. Whatever topic does not fit into the 12pm to 2pm time frame, receives its deserved attention via one-on-one legal consultations that are scheduled at our flagship Manhattan office.

Many thanks to the wonderful community managers and team at WeWork E. 57th! Be sure to mark your calendars for our upcoming event: Protecting Your Business, Brand, & Intellectual Property: Trademarks 101 on April 30, 2019.
