Greek Independence Day Celebration at Gracie Mansion

In honor of Greek culture and the thriving Greek community here in New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio welcomed community leaders to Gracie Mansion in celebration of Greek Independence Day last night. The program featured remarks by Mayor Bill de Blasio, an invocation by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America, and a proclamation recognizing the achievements of Greek American author, syndicated columnist and businesswoman Arianna Huffington.
PN Lawyers has had the honor of being invited to attend the annual Greek Independence Day celebration for many years. Having Arianna Huffington apart of this year’s event agenda truly made it a most memorable experience for all, especially for the PN women who have been working relentlessly on their “Empowering Women in the Workplace” initiative this month.
Bravo Arianna for being such an inspirational female leader and role model to women all around the world. Bravo Mayor Bill de Blasio for hosting this annual event that celebrates not only the achievements of the past, but also of the present and future.
