Federico Rebecchi

International Attorney

Federico Rebecchi is a transactional lawyer with expertise in ECVC and intellectual property. Federico advises investors and emerging companies throughout their corporate lifecycle, assisting them with all aspects of fundraising, M&A transactions, and corporate governance. He has also negotiated and led many music transactions and licensing agreements.

Federico has closed cross-border deals in multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on Europe. His clients include music, entertainment, technology, wellness, and hospitality companies, as well as investors and artists.

He is driven by the mission of helping his clients succeed and grow, and by the vision of creating a more diverse, inclusive, and sustainable ecosystem. When not practicing law, you can find him playing soccer in NYC’s parks, his favorite is Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Federico completed an LLM at Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to practice in Spain. He plans to sit for the New York Bar Examination in February 2026.

Federico’s representative matters include:

  • Advised Fit Active, a leading Italian fitness chain with over 150 venues worldwide, on its expansion into Spain and the €2M all-cash acquisition of 100% of a Spanish gym operator, including transaction structuring, due diligence, and closing.
  • Advised a Barcelona-based room-rental marketplace on a €7M financing round, consisting of €5M in equity from Barlon Capital and a €2M debt facility from Banco Santander, assisting with investment documentation, corporate governance, and negotiations.
  • Advised a B2B travel tech platform on a €1.5M convertible loan, structuring investment terms, negotiating valuation caps and discount mechanics, and drafting investor-protection provisions.
  • Advised on commercial agreements for the European Tour (2019–2020) of Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha, including performance, sponsorship, and production-related contracts.
  • Represented Cumbiafrica, a renowned Colombian artist and author of Corre Morenita (feat. HUGEL), in multiple international copyright infringement disputes against leading DJs and music labels for unauthorized sampling. Negotiated the settlement agreement and successfully secured master and publishing rights.
