Jacqueline Weiss is an attorney working in the areas of Civil Litigation, Labor and Employment Investigations and Family Law. She received her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and is currently admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
Before joining PN, Jacqueline represented Underwriters such as Lloyd's of London in monitoring the defense of Professional Liability claims to insured's such as physicians, allied-health and long-term care programs.
She has experience working for The New York State Office of Attorney General in their Litigation and Criminal Enforcement and Financial Crimes Bureaus.
There, she was involved in the investigation of state contractors and attorneys engaged in fraudulent billing practices and in defending correctional and mental health institutions from administrative claims. She also worked at a prominent New York law firm representing defendants accused of White Collar crimes. She also interned with Justice Pineda-Kirwan in the NYS Supreme Court of Queens County where she drafted proposed decisions and memoranda involving default judgments, judgment of foreclosure and sale and distribution of surplus monies.
She is certified as a Community Mediator in New York State and enthusiastically advocates for her client's objectives.
