Pardalis & Nohavicka Premises Liability Law Update: Wedding Fail

The bride was injured when a floral arch fell on top of her while she was sitting at a table during the wedding reception at King Star Restaurant. The bride sued the restaurant.

Trying to get out of the case on liability, King Star was required to establish that it was not aware that arch was of a dangerous or defective condition for a sufficient length of time to remedy it. King Star was unable to do so; bride proceeds to trial with her claim for injuries.

The case is Yu Zhen Chen v King Star Rest., Inc.
