The jury heard that Carlos was following the girl closely for approximately fifteen minutes as she walked through an underground tunnel and then out onto the street, while Carlos harassed her with distressing and menacing remarks, such as "something bad ... could happen to you."
Upholding the conviction, the appeals court held that the jury rationally inferred that Carlos's conduct was designed to hound, frighten, intimidate and threaten his victim.
