This attendee’s feedback from our Small Business and Startup Essentials Workshop last night is why we do what we do. Our event was not only professionally and soul gratifying for our team due to the plethora of legal issues we were able to address in such a short period of time, but also due to the explosive turnout of over 90 NYC area professionals.
We were certain that due to the treacherous weather only a handful of professionals would join us, however, we were most pleasantly shocked to welcome a wide array of entrepreneurs, start-up and small business owners representing over 25 diverse industries.
Our speakers covered a rich range of topics including: Business Planning, Financials, Intellectual Property Protection and Employment Law. These are the base fundamentals needed to best comprehend the legal foundations of correctly starting a business.
As always, our Q&A session encouraged the audience to ask our panel of attorneys to clarify their legal questions. Thanks to last night’s eager crowd, all questions were interesting, informative, and wholly beneficial.
We would like to extend another big thank you to our wonderful sponsor, Cakes by Lexi, who provided our guests with mouth-watering gourmet treats such as spiced pumpkin bread and mini buttercream frosted chocolate cupcakes. The workshop was followed by an interactive networking session complete with pizza and libations.
